Australian BBQ Recipe for 4 People

Ingredients:

  • 4 beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your preferred cut)
  • 4 sausages (beef, pork, or lamb)
  • 4 chicken skewers (marinated or seasoned)
  • 4 corn on the cob
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 eggplant, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, whole or sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • BBQ sauce or marinade of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the BBQ:
    • Preheat your BBQ grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the Meat:
    • Rub the beef steaks with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
    • Brush the sausages and chicken skewers with BBQ sauce or marinade.
  3. Grill the Meat:
    • Place the beef steaks, sausages, and chicken skewers on the BBQ grill.
    • Cook the beef steaks to your desired doneness, flipping halfway through cooking.
    • Cook the sausages until browned and cooked through, turning occasionally.
    • Grill the chicken skewers until cooked through and slightly charred, turning occasionally.
  4. Grill the Vegetables:
    • Place the sliced onion, bell pepper, zucchini, eggplant, and mushrooms on the BBQ grill.
    • Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
    • Grill until tender and slightly charred, turning occasionally.
  5. Grill the Corn:
    • Place the corn on the cob directly on the BBQ grill.
    • Grill, turning occasionally, until kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  6. Serve:
    • Transfer the grilled meat and vegetables to a serving platter.
    • Serve hot with additional BBQ sauce or marinade on the side.

Optional:

  • Serve with a side of potato salad, coleslaw, or grilled bread.
