Steak Tartare Recipe for 4 People
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 14 oz. of ground beef (filet or sirloin)
- 1 shallot
- 2 pickles
- 1 tablespoon of capers
- 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup (optional)
- 1 pinch of Tabasco (optional)
- 1 lemon
- Flat parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Instructions:
- Finely chop the shallot, pickles, and capers.
- Chop the flat parsley.
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, shallot, pickles, capers, parsley, mustard, egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup (if used), Tabasco (if used), salt, and pepper.
- Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.
- Form 4 steaks with the preparation.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with olive oil.
- Serve the steak tartare with lemon and toasted bread.
Tips:
- You can choose to chop the meat yourself with a knife for a more authentic result.
- You can add other ingredients to your steak tartare, such as red onions, black olives, or fresh herbs.
