Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Nori seaweed sheets

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Sushi Rice:
    • Rinse sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

    • In a small saucepan, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
    • Once the rice is cooked, gently fold in the vinegar mixture. Allow it to cool to room temperature.

  3. Assemble Sushi Rolls:
    • Place a sheet of nori on the bamboo sushi rolling mat.
    • Wet your hands and grab a handful of sushi rice, spreading it evenly over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
    • Arrange slices of fish and vegetables along the bottom edge of the rice.
  4. Roll the Sushi:
    • Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi tightly from the bottom, applying gentle pressure.
    • Seal the edge with a bit of water.
  5. Slice and Serve:
    • Using a sharp, wet knife, slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.
    • Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Serve with Dipping Sauce:
    • Serve the sushi with soy sauce, pickled ginger, and wasabi.
