Chili Con Carne Recipe for 4 People
Ingredients:
- 500g (1.1 lbs) ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (400g/14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (400g/14 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped fresh cilantro, sliced jalapeños
Instructions:
- Cook the Beef:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Add Vegetables:
- Stir in diced bell pepper and cook for a few minutes until softened.
- Seasonings and Tomatoes:
