Ingredients:
- 400g (14 oz) dried pasta (spaghetti, penne, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 400g (14 oz) canned chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
- Cook Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
- Prepare Sauce:
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
